| Mumbai attacks: Charges to be framed against Qasab

Tags: India News, Mumabi attacks, Terrorist Attacks in India, Qasab's trialThe charges against Ajmal Shah Qasab, the accused and only survivor amongst the alleged militants, are likely to be framed on Wednesday in a Special court in Mumbai.
Qasab is accused of India’s biggest terrorist attack which claimed at least 166 innocent lives and left over 200 people injured.
Qasab is facing charges like waging war against the nation, Murder, Kidnapping, Possessing arms and explosives and for being a member of the banned terror group - the Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT).
Now, the special court of Aurther Road Jail will frame charges on him as pled by the prosecution and ask the accused about their stand on the charges. Qasab has already retracted from his confession given to the Police during the remand and he is likely to oppose all the charges to be framed against him on Wednesday.
