According to reports, these four Indian students hailing from Andhra Pradesh, who were residing in Melbourne for their higher studies, have become victims of racial attack.
All students were thrashed brutally by the local students and admitted to the hospital later. Out of four, one student is critically injured in this racist attack. Indian government officials have now registered complain before Australian government and sought a clarification over this racist attack. Though no one has been arrested yet but a probe has been ordered in the incident.
It’s not the first time that a case of racist attack on Indian student came into notice in foreign countries. Many students have faced this problem while studying or working abroad. Meanwhile, Indian students in abroad are advised to stay in groups by the embassy officials there.
